Passion

I'm not a pro photographer, even though I studied documentary photography. Right now, I'm not doing it professionally. I just enjoy snapping pics in my free time because I love it.

Coming from a background of using 35mm films and darkrooms, I've fully switched to digital photography now. But my love for black and white photos hasn't changed. Whether I'm using old-school film or digital gear, I always see scenes in black and white. It's probably because I've been into film for so long.

Regardless of whether I'm using film or digital, my main focus is on getting great shots with my camera. I appreciate both ways of doing it, but digital photography wins me over because it's more convenient and gives me better control over the final result.

Gear isn’t important so here you go

  • Fujifilm X100V

  • Fujifilm X-T2

  • Ricoh GR III

  • Nikon FE2 (35mm film)

Software

I used Capture One, and nowadays Lightroom Classic, for RAW developing, Nik Silver Efex Pro for black and white conversions, Photoshop as a “plug-in holder” for Silver Efex and for tweaking.

Thanks for taking the time to look at my work. It is much appreciated.
