Did I just take a picture?

Did you just take a picture, or is there a deeper meaning behind it? Is it simply a depiction of a landscape, or a specific situation you've observed? Does the photograph reflect something about you? Are you photographing “who you are” when you are taking pictures?

Looking at my own stuff I can almost always find elements of myself in some of the pictures I shoot. Maybe that’s just me trying to connect parts of my personality to the images. I don’t know.

I know I tend to be a solitary individual. Are the next images a form of self-disclosure or did I just see a composition and a subject? I am uncertain.

Have I portrayed a sense of disconnection? Do I personally sense any disconnection? Do the following pictures revolve around the theme of disconnection?

Am I just being dramatic, just like clouds can be? I like clouds so I photograph a lot of clouds. They have an ever-changing mood, much like myself, I suppose.

There’s no final answer but I guess there’s a lot of what you are in what you photograph.

To end on a positive note: here’s some love, fun, and togetherness.

Thanks for reading and taking the time to look at the photos.
